HRHS Automotive expansion

As approved by voters, the 2024 Bond for Douglas County School District will fund the expansion of Career and Technical Education at Highlands Ranch High School, which will be home to a new automotive-diesel repair program, similar to the well-established progream at Ponderosa High. The HRHS auto shop program will be the first such DCSD program on the west side of Interstate 25.

A groundbreaking event took place on October 22, 2025. The shop is expected to be ready for students in Fall 2026.
